Do I need an NFC chip?
No. A printed QR code works fine, and you make it for free in the app. Rather tap? Then buy an NFC sticker or card (for example NTAG213 or NTAG215, from about one euro) and put your code on it with the app.
Do I have to scan my code to start?
No. You start with one tap in the app. You only need your code to unlock everything again. So starting takes no effort, and stopping takes just enough to think for a moment.
Can the whole family use the same code?
Yes. Link every phone in the house to the same code. One card on the fridge is enough. Each phone does need its own Unlupa.
What if I lose my code?
No panic. Hold the emergency button in the app for 90 seconds and everything turns off. Then just print a new code.
Which websites can I block?
Any website you like. Unlupa recognises it in Chrome, Firefox, Samsung Internet, Edge, Brave, Opera, DuckDuckGo and more. A site also blocks everything under it, so youtube.com keeps m.youtube.com closed too.
Does Unlupa watch what I do?
No. Everything stays on your phone. There is no account and no cloud. For websites Unlupa only reads your browser's address bar, and only while Unlupa is on.
What happens after the 7 days?
You decide. Pay €15 once and Unlupa is yours forever. Do nothing and you can't switch anything on anymore. Stopping always works, and your stats stay yours.
Does Unlupa work on iPhone?
Yes. Unlupa is available for iPhone and Android. On iPhone Unlupa uses Apple's Screen Time, so apps and websites really close. You need iOS 17 or later.

Because they make you reach for your phone more often, to see who's winning. With Unlupa you celebrate your own progress, with streaks and more than 70 achievements.
